Should a woman wash/clean they're downstair parts?

If so how exactly?Should a woman wash/clean they're downstair parts?
Of course you should! Don't put soap or shower gel inside that area as this can cause infection and disturb your bodys natural bacterial defence. Water is fine or a specially designed wash for that area but nothing acidic.Should a woman wash/clean they're downstair parts?
There is no reason why you should not use soap to wash yourself vaginally. However, a small percentage of women do find that some soaps - especially the highly scented variety - can cause irritation.

If you're prone to recurrent attacks of cystitis, then soap may make this problem worse. However, if you have no soreness or irritation when using soap, then use it freely.

Yours sincerely

Just use a mild soap and water, NEVER douche without a doctor's permission, that causes infections by disrupting the vaginal chemical balance. If the soap you used irritated you, use something different. I have a bar of Dove unscented soap in the shower just for this, if I use any soap that is scented, it irritates me. Just use the soap and water with a washcloth.
I would've thought it is something most women (and men) are taught from an early age! It is a prime area for bacteria, they like a warm moist environment to live in (a bit like most men lol)

Simple soap and water whilst bathing or showering is fine, although perfumed sops can upset the natural ph balance

xx
These people are all talking about the outside of the downstairs part by the way. If soap is itchy try 'Simple' soap or a non perfumed type. You dont need deodorants etc they can do more harm than good if your a senstitive type. You dont need to clean inside, that takes care of itself.
Yeah you should wash. You can do it with just soap and water, but if you are sensitive down there and it stings when you use soap you can use a soap for sensitive areas that you can basically buy any where like grocery or health stores.
????????? With soap and water. BTW don't douche it is bad for your health unless a Doctor proscribes one!

Edit- If it's itchy then your probably allergic to the soap your using so change your soap and see if that helps! Good luck!
I use unscented Dial antibacterial soap and have for close to 30 years with no problems.

Don't douche and don't use the ';feminine'; washes that are out. Just a simple, plain soap and water is fine.
just give it a rub with something mild whilst in the bath or shower! dont wash inside it will mess up the fanny juice and thats why you will get itchy! are you actually a woman? you should have learnt by now silly !
just clean with water do not use any kind of soap as this will irritate you as you have found out. it will otherwise clean itself naturally, so don't worry too much about it.
She should ALWAYS wash it and keep it clean and it's a basic thing of soap and water. How she cleans up depends on her personal preference.
Well use soap and water and watch the dirt vanish and also watch this question vanish at the same time.
If it's still itchy after washing try vagisil, it sooths and stops the itch. It's about $4 at the drugstore.
Wash front to back and use a deodorant soap for the external areas. Do not douche or enema unless a doctor requires this.
Yea you can get special washes for down there.
yes for your sake and partner, use none perfume soap/femfresh please!!!!!!!!!!
yes. in the shower or bath with soap. There are special vaginal soaps and wipes, but i find soap is fine.
