Can i wash only part of my hair and not all of it?

my hair is thick and it takes like half an hour to straighten. i straighten my hair every morning but now im afraid its going to kill my hair. my bangs have hair spray and gel on it but not the rest of my hair. can i just wet the my bangs until the stuff comes off and only re- straighten my bangs.. or should i just wash all of my hair? Can i wash only part of my hair and not all of it?
Of course you can ';wet the [your] bangs until the stuff comes off and only re- straighten [your] bangs..'; But I would only do it every other day unless you will wear the rest of your hair up the third day. Definitely no more than two days of cleaning only the bangs in a row.

An alternative is a waterless shampoo on the bangs followed by a little leave-in conditioner and styling as usual. Waterless shampoos are usually brushed out of the hair and take the gunk with it.

Why not go natural? With so many good healthy products on the market today, you should be able to just relax your hair without the iron.

But, to answer your question, yes. You can wash just your bangs for a few days, then wash your whole head on the third day. The only reason not to would be if you suffer from dandruff.
