Is there any way to wash the plastic part of a shower curtain?

i really need to clean mine; do i just hand scrub it?

any easier way?

what do i use to clean it?Is there any way to wash the plastic part of a shower curtain?
fill the bathtub up about halfway with warm water (or as much needed to cover the shower curtain) then add about 1/2 cup of dishwasher detergent (make sure it dissolves). Put the shower curtain in and swish it around a little bit then let it soak for a couple of hours. Drain and rinse. The dishwasher detergent should help dissolve any hard water stains and soap scum and should clean up any mildewy spots as well.Is there any way to wash the plastic part of a shower curtain?
There are lots of things like tilex, or scrubbing bubbles that are made for cleaning things in your shower. All you need to do is find out if it is safe for plastic or not (if it says it is not, test in an inconspicuous spot as most of those heavy duty plastic curtains are vinyl with is very tough.) Then just spray it on and wash it off with the shower head pointed at it!
You could put it in the washing machine at medium heat and gentle cycle, and take it out before the spin (the spin might make it all crinkly). Regular washing detergent. Or if it's mildewed, spray it with Lysol or similar, then wipe or spray with very hot water.
Wash with bleach in the washer, hang outside to dry in the sun. This will get rid of any mold or mildew
i just throw it in the washing machine with a touch of soap
My spouse puts it in the washer and then hangs it to dry, there's no problems with it.
