How can i wash my shirt without turning the white part blue like the rest of the shirt?

The shirt has white at the neck and around the bottom and it is striped two shades of blue on the rest of the shirt. I want to wash it but im scared it will turn the white parts a shade of blue or what ever other colors are in the load. How can i wash my shirt without turning the white part blue like the rest of the shirt?

Use cold water instead of hot. There's also a great product by Shout called ';Color Catcher';. They're sheets (kinda like the things you put in the dryer) and they're supposed to catch bleeding color in the wash. I use them whenever I wash whites with other colors (always in cold water) and I've never had a problem.
put some salt in with the wash. it will keep the colors from running
There is a product available that looks like little dryer sheets. You put them in the laundry when you do a normal wash - and it sucks up any bleeding colors. It totally works. I can't remember the name - but you can find them at most grocery stores near the laundry soap.
Cold water with Cheer!

I love the stuff. It rocks for colors.
